Young Giraffe Sounds

Young giraffes, on the other hand, are another story. According to data collected from zookeepers, a young giraffe can produce up to 12 distinct sounds.

Young giraffes make all types of sounds, including grunts, moans, snores, bellows, snorts, coughs, bleats, mews, hissing, whistle-like cries, and flute-like sounds.
