The prequels

After the initial Harry Potter and Star Wars films, both Harry Potter and Star Wars have had movie prequels. The Fantastic Beasts franchise isn’t particularly well-liked by fans, but it’s probably got more going for it than some of the Star Wars prequels, which elicit a range of emotions from hardcore Star Wars devotees.

The criticism on both sides is correct for the most part, but some of the material draws more hatred than others, and in certain instances, it is deserved.

The Harry Potter stage play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which follows on from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, is also available. This is comparable to Disney’s recent Star Wars Sequels in terms of closeness. Despite this, Harry Potter hasn’t produced anything comparable to The Mandalorian or Star Wars: The Clone Wars; both of which are not only some of the finest Star Wars material released in the last decade but also make for fantastic television.

They might consider making some Harry Potter prequels, focusing on the creation of Hogwarts or a series following the Marauders (James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew), for example.
