Naboo was depicted as a wealthy world in the prequels, implying that some very luxurious settings would have been required for filming. The breathtaking Plaza de España in Seville, Spain, served as one such location in Attack of the Clones. The ornate pavilion that wraps around the rear of this square was utilized while Padme and Anakin were in Theed to have discussions with each other. Only a brief view of the former World Fair site is shown in the film, therefore there’s much more to discover than what is visible.
