Who are the insurgents who launch attacks but appear to be unconcerned with the suffering of civilians caught in the crossfire? I don’t believe that the United States is like the dark Empire of Star Wars, which set out to mine and then kill every living being in Jedha. Nonetheless, combat scenes raise questions about right and wrong that aren’t unique to veterans.

Yet, despite their suffering and sacrifice, the affection and connection each of the characters has for one another, which you only acquire by going through hell together, shines through clearly. It’s for one another that they endure and give up at the end.
