Meet the LA Zoo’s New Baby Giraffe, The Tallest Calf in the Zoo’s History
The yet-to-be-named baby boy is already over 6 feet tall — and he’s going to get taller.

On Thursday morning, the Los Angeles Zoo will add a new member, and he’ll be making his debut!
The tallest giraffe calf in the history of the Los Angeles Zoo is a new giraffe born on April 8th, according to the famous LA attraction and animal care site.
Zainabu and Philip are two 10-year-old Masai giraffes that have called the sanctuary home since birth. The yet-to-be-named male baby is 6 feet 7 inches tall and weighs around 172 pounds, as he was born to two 10-year-old Masai giraffes who already called the sanctuary home.
